About Us
Todd Grondzki (and Rainey)
Todd founded Blue SkEye in the Summer of 2015 after serving a long and successful career as a Marketing Manager for a major outdoor lifestyle brand. His obsession with quadcopters (AKA drones) began just a few years earlier while directing a photo shoot on Lake Allatoona, in Acworth, Georgia. One of the photographers was using a DJI Phantom 1 drone to capture some aerial footage and Todd quickly became hooked. He bought his very own quadcopter just a few days later and has been a passionate 'drone' guy ever since.
Todd has been shooting aerial media for the past few years but his fascination with flying began much earlier. He grew up living alongside of a grass runway in the middle-of-nowhere (Live Oak), North Florida. His father was a flight instructor so he learned to fly airplanes at a very early age. On his 15th birthday he earned his student driver's license and pilot's license in the same day. He later earned his Private Pilot’s license and has been getting high ever since!
